Essentially Natural Capric Caprylic Triglycerides is a fractionated coconut oil, extracted from the coconut much in the same way cream is separated from milk. It fundamentally consists of medium-chain fatty acids, particularly caprylic acid (C8) and capric acid (C10). It is a clear liquid broadly used in personal and cosmetic care products.
♡ Why we love it: It is lightweight and non-comedogenic making it an ideal carrier oil for blending with essential oils, body butters, and waxes to use in DIY cosmetic products. Capric Caprylic Triglycerides is also resistant to oxidation, increasing the shelf life of products. Generally, it is praised for its functional and skin-friendly attributes.
