Shipping & Delivery

We offer free, carbon-negative delivery nationwide within South Africa on orders over R500 and under 25kg.

Orders that exceed 25kg still qualify for free shipping, however a surcharge of R5 per kilogram applies for the portion of the shipment above 25kg.

Orders under R500 are subject to a delivery fee based on location and delivery method.

Courier Delivery

Delivery Costs

  • Cape Town main areas: Free for orders over R500, otherwise R65

  • Major centres: Free for orders over R500, otherwise R85-R95

  • Regional and outlying areas: Free for orders over R500, otherwise R120

Estimated Transit Times

  • Cape Town (main areas): 1-2 business days

  • Major centres: 2-4 business days

  • Regional and outlying areas: 4-6 business days

Please note:

  • Courier deliveries are available to physical street addresses only.

  • Couriers generally cannot deliver to embassies, malls, chain stores, mines, some farms, plots, and certain outlying towns or townships.

  • If our courier partners are unable to service your address, we'll contact you to discuss alternative arrangements.

  • Deliveries take place Monday to Friday during business hours.

  • No deliveries take place on weekends or public holidays.

Warehouse Collection

You're welcome to collect your order directly from our warehouse:

Collection Hours

Monday to Thursday: 9:00am - 4:30pm
Friday: 9:00am - 4:00pm

Closed on weekends and public holidays.

Simply select "Pick-Up" during checkout.

Please note that all collection orders must be placed and paid for online before collection. Once your order is ready, we'll send an automated email and/or SMS notification.

Own Courier Collection

If you'd prefer to arrange your own courier, please email support@essentiallynatural.co.za after placing your order.

Please include:

  • Your order number

  • The courier company name

  • A copy of the courier waybill

For security and logistical reasons, we cannot release parcels to third-party couriers without a valid waybill.

Carbon-Negative Delivery

We ship thousands of parcels every month and recognise the environmental impact of delivery.

To help reduce that impact, we invest in verified carbon offset projects that remove more carbon from the atmosphere than our deliveries produce. This allows us to offer carbon-negative delivery, not merely carbon-neutral delivery.

Our goal is to continue improving the sustainability of our entire business while helping customers make more environmentally conscious purchasing decisions.

Delivery Delays

Products marked with a delay on the product page will be subject to the stated lead time before dispatch.

While uncommon, factors such as severe weather, power outages, civil unrest, strikes, or other events outside our control may occasionally affect delivery times.

Late delivery does not constitute grounds for cancellation or refund of parcels that have already been dispatched. However, if you are concerned about the status of your shipment, please contact us with your order details and we'll gladly investigate and assist.
