Astragalus Root turns your daily tea into an immune-boosting potion. Native to China, Mongolia, and Korea, this earthy yet subtly sweet root is known in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) as Huang Qi, meaning “The Yellow Leader” - a reference to both its golden colour and high ranking among healing herbs. For thousands of years it’s been used to strengthen what TCM calls Wei Qi, the body’s defensive energy - helping to fortify immunity, restore vitality, and support recovery. It’s also traditionally turned to for easing fatigue, aiding digestion, and supporting the lungs and respiratory health.
♡ Why we love it: Astragalus will become the cornerstone of your tea blends - safe, gentle, and best taken regularly to build resilience over time, rather than as a quick fix. Its mellow, nutty-sweet taste blends beautifully into soups and broths, adding a subtle richness. Modern science now confirms that Astragalus supports white blood cell production, enhances immune signalling, helps manage blood sugar, supports kidney health, and even contributes to healthy ageing. For an extra layer of support, it pairs beautifully with immune allies like Echinacea or adaptogens like Ashwagandha.
Size: 200g, 500g, or 1kg.
