TRIsatin is a complete oil-in-water emulsifying system that creates mild, moisturising emulsions with a soft satin skin feel. It is made from a blend of glyceryl stearate, cetearyl alcohol and sodium stearoyl lactylate designed to give excellent skin affinity and comfortable glide. It works as a stand-alone emulsifier, supporting everything from fluid lotions to rich creams without needing a separate co-emulsifier.

How to use
- As a Cream Or Lotion Emulsifier: Use at 3% to 7% of the total formula.
- Oil Phase Step: Add TRIsatin to the oil phase and heat to melt between 55°C and 70°C.
- Water Phase Step: Heat the water phase to the same temperature.
- Emulsify: Combine phases with steady mixing, then homogenise if needed for best texture.
- Cool-Down: Stir gently while cooling and add heat-sensitive ingredients and preservative below 40°C.
- Processing Tip: Preserve any finished product that contains water.
