Essentially Natural Sodium Lactate Solution is a 60% aqueous solution of sodium lactate, the salt of lactic acid. It is a popular humectant in skincare and haircare because it helps attract and hold water for a comfortable, moisturised feel. In soap making, it is commonly added to help harden bars faster so they unmould sooner and last longer. This ingredient is ECOCERT and COSMOS approved and is used at low percentages in formulas.
Also available in Sample Sizes.
