Dried Shepherd's Purse has been recommended for passive hemorrhage, diarrhea as well as dysentery. It may alleviate period pains as well. As a tea it is considered a remedy against hemorrhages of all kinds - in the stomach, lungs uterus, and kidneys.

As a tea
- Pour 1 cup of boiling water onto 1-2 teaspoons of herb. Infuse for 10-15 minutes. Strain and drink 3 times a day. Or for menstrual conditions every 2-3 hours.
