Boost memory, circulation, cuisine, and hair strength with dried rosemary.
Rosemary is an evergreen shrub in the mint family, native to the Mediterranean and now grown widely in temperate climates. The needle-shaped leaves are central to both herbal traditions and cooking. Historically, its aroma was inhaled for memory, concentration, and mental clarity; burned or smudged to ward off bad spirits; made into teas for digestion and warmth.
♡ Why we love it: Rosemary is richly aromatic and packed with compounds: phenols for antioxidant support; diterpenes for antioxidant and neuroprotective qualities; triterpenes for anti-inflammatory and barrier-supportive effects; and essential oils that bring aroma, freshness, and stimulation. Together, these create a beautifully stimulating and clarifying herb.
As a tea, rosemary supports digestion - particularly after heavy meals - while boosting circulation and offering a subtly energising effect.
Externally, rosemary supports a healthy scalp environment, helping hair look stronger, fuller, and shinier. In skincare, its extracts are antioxidant, clarifying, mildly astringent, and soothing - ideal for oily/combination or maturing skin, and for barrier-support and anti-pollution formulas.
