Dried Oak Bark is said to be helpful in the treatment of varicose veins, colds or flu, as well as bringing relief of diarrhoea. It can be used to treat poison ivy, soothe pain and inflammation from bee stings and insect bites and burns.

As a tea
Put 1 tsp of bark in 1 cup of water, bring to a boil and simmer for 10-15 min. Drink 3 times per day
