Dried Green Tea (Camillia sinensis)

Dried Green Tea (Camillia sinensis) is great as as a general tonic. It contains powerful antioxidants and can be used both externally and internally.

  • This product is grown in an organic and regenerative fashion with as minimal use of insecticides, pesticides, herbicides and fungicides as possible, in certified organic fertilizer. The product is certified food grade. It is not certified organic. Suitable for Kosher, Halaal and Hindi diets.

    USES & BENEFITS

    INTERNAL:

    • Boosts the immune system
    • May ease chronic coughs and colds
    • Can assist with repairing cell damage that is in the beginning stages of heart disease, cataracts, macular degeneration
    • May reduce blood cholesterol levels
    • Acts as a general tonic
    • May be useful in the treatment of stomach ulcers

    EXTERNAL:

    • Gargling with green tea may reduce tooth decay by preventing plague to form and is rich in fluoride
    • Cooled green tea used as a lotion which may help for skin cancer
    • Soothes insect bites.
    • As an eye wash for eye ailments
    • As an ointment for hemorrhoids, swelling and sunburn

    OTHER USES:

    • Sip a cup of green tea whilst lying in a warm bath to which a big pot of green tea has been added for instant revival of an overtired, all aching body.
    • Use for your hair for more gloss and tensile strength

    AS A TEA

    • Infusion: pour 1 cup of boiling water over 2 teaspoons of herb. Let it stand for 5 min- 10 min, then strain. Drink 3 times a day.
    • You can use tea in lotions or add to your bath.
