Ease discomfort, swelling, and inflammation with Devil’s Claw. Indigenous to the dry regions of southern Africa – particularly Namibia, Botswana, and the Kalahari – this root has been treasured in traditional medicine for generations. The Khoisan and other Indigenous groups prepared it as a tea to soothe inflamed joints, improve digestion, and encourage appetite. It was also used in tonics as a “blood purifier.”
♡ Why we love it: Devil’s Claw’s main active compound, harpagoside, is known for its powerful anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving effects. It helps limit the production of inflammatory substances in the body and has been widely studied for joint health. Research shows its usefulness in osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, lower back pain, and other inflammatory conditions like fibromyalgia and tendonitis. Other natural actives - including procumbide and harpagide - work alongside harpagoside to enhance these effects, supporting mobility, energy, and digestion.
In topical use, Devil’s Claw provides antioxidant-rich relief for irritated skin. Added to creams and gels, it soothes sore muscles and joints while reducing redness and inflammation.
Sizes: 200g, 500g, or 1kg.
