Cleanse and support wellness with this gently flavoured traditional herb. Native to Central and South America and now grown across the world, beanpods have been enjoyed as a tea for centuries to ease water retention and assist the body in releasing unwanted buildup. They’ve also been valued for soothing mild urinary discomfort and reducing bloating.
♡ Why we love it: Beanpods are naturally rich in flavonoids, polyphenols, fibre, and minerals that work together to encourage healthy fluid balance and kidney support. They may also help calm inflammation, shield cells from oxidative stress, promote digestive ease, and aid natural metabolic balance. This makes them a popular addition to homemade wellness teas, detox blends, and even nourishing soups or broths, where they add both subtle flavour and gentle health benefits.
Beyond a detox – which can reflect in clearer skin – beanpod extracts are also used in skincare. They offer light toning, hydration, and calming properties, while helping maintain a strong skin barrier through improved circulation and reduced inflammation.
