Essentially Natural Aloe Vera Liquid-Gel is a preserved aloe juice ingredient pressed from the leaf of Aloe barbadensis. It is a highly versatile cosmetic ingredient used to replace some or all of the water phase in skincare and haircare formulas. This product is a liquid rather than a fresh plant gel, and it can be thickened into a gel texture by using suitable gelling agents.

Q: Why is this aloe “liquid” and not like fresh aloe gel?
A: Fresh aloe gel texture comes from the natural plant matrix, which is not stable for extended storage. This product is a preserved aloe juice ingredient designed for safe repeat use.

Q: Can I turn this into a gel?
A: Yes, you can thicken it using suitable cosmetic gelling agents to create a more viscous gel texture.

Q: Can I use this as the full water phase in a cream or lotion?
A: It can replace some or all of the water phase, but the final product still needs an appropriate emulsifier and a proper preservation approach for the complete formula.

Q: Does this contain preservatives?
A: Yes, it is preserved with sodium benzoate and potassium sorbate to support stability and safe repeat use.
