Essentially Natural Coffee Bean Oil - Cold Pressed is a highly aromatic botanical oil pressed from Coffea arabica beans with a rich roasted coffee scent. It is commonly used in mature-skin-style formulations and body products where both aroma and a nourishing oil feel are desired. The oil contains naturally occurring fatty acids that support a conditioned, comfortable finish on skin. Because it has a strong natural aroma and can vary from batch to batch, it is especially popular in perfumed body oils, scrubs, and rinse-off products.

Cocoa Coffee Bath Bombs

1c baking soda

½c citric acid

1T kaolin clay

2tsp cacao powder

Witch hazel

8ml coffee bean oil

For the chocolate sauce (optional):

27g raw cocoa butter

6g cacao powder

Combine all the dry ingredients together with a whisk. Add the coffee oil ensuring that it is well dispersed. Then spray some witch hazel over the ingredients and mix in with your hands. When you can squeeze a handful of the mixture and it sticks together, it is ready. Press into molds and set out to dry. To make the sauce melt the cocoa butter then mix in the cacao powder. Drizzle over the bath bombs and keep in a cool, dry place.

  • Patch test before first use and discontinue if irritation occurs.

It has a nice and subtle coffee scent, while also adds a fair creaminess, richness and nourishment to your cream.

One important thing to note is that coffee bean oil is not the same as a coffee extract. While it is derived from coffee beans, it does not contain significant amounts of caffeine, so it is generally used for its moisturising and skin-conditioning properties rather than as a source of caffeine.
