Pearl Lustre Mica Powder - Cerise is a synthetic pearlescent mica powder used to bring a bright pink-red shimmer to soaps, makeup, bath bombs, and personal care products. It is ideal for formulations where you want decorative colour with a luminous finish rather than a flat pigment look. While it can tint water, it does not dissolve in it, so proper dispersion is important for an even result. This shade works well in floral, playful, romantic, and statement-making colour blends.
♡ Why we love it: Cerise adds instant vibrancy and a lovely pearly lift to a formula. It is a versatile shade for makers who enjoy expressive colour work, and it gives products a polished decorative finish without being difficult to use.

Q: Will Cerise look the same in every formula?
A: Not always. The final look can vary depending on the base colour, usage rate, and how well the mica is dispersed.
Q: Can this be used in melt & pour soap?
A: Yes, it is suitable for melt & pour soap as well as cold process and hot process soap.
Q: Do I need to pre-mix it before adding it to formulations?
A: In many cases, yes. Pre-mixing with a little oil can help improve dispersion and reduce speckling.

Played with this today and made a very pretty pearly pink lip gloss. Super fine and mixed very easily by hand into the oils. No gritty feeling on the lips.
I recently tried adding Cerise Mica Powder to my homemade lip balms, and I couldn't be happier with the results! Not only does this powder give my lip balms a beautiful, vibrant shade of pink, but it also adds a subtle shimmer that looks absolutely stunning. The colour payoff is fantastic when making a grapefruit lip balm.
Beautiful, lovely mink pink sparkle.
