Cocoa Butter is a popular ingredient in 'make your own' recipes for the face and skin, such as soaps and lotions. It soaks into the skin beautifully and has very high concentrations of vitamins and emollients that are excellent for repairing burned skin and in the prevention of stretch marks.

This small-batch but high-quality, cocoa butter is suitable for cosmetic use and is sourced from a trusted third-party supplier under our White Label range. While documentation such as a COA and SDS is not currently available, this unrefined butter remains a popular staple for skincare formulations.

Why we love it: cocoa butter smells like chocolate heaven and is wonderfully moisturising for skin. It has a huge variety of DIY applications, from lip balms, to whipped body butter and soaps.

Chocolate Butter Lip Scrub

3 T castor sugar

1 T cocoa butter

3 T carrier oil such as sweet almond oil

1 T cocoa powder

Melt the cocoa butter and the oil together then stir in the sugar and cocoa powder. Spoon into a jar and use as required. This is an edible scrub so you can lick it off if you like! Read more about our Winter Lip Care on our blog.
