INCI: Mentha Spicata Oil

Essentially Natural Spearmint Essential Oil is derived from the leaves of the Spearmint plant (Mentha Spicata) through steam distillation and has a crisp and sweet scent. This essential oil is much gentler than Peppermint Essential Oil, though they have many of the same characteristics. Its gentle nature makes it suitable for treating children and those with sensitive skin.

♡ Why we love it: Spearmint Essential Oil has antibacterial and antifungal properties, making it beneficial for skin health and purifying the air. When applied topically it provides a cooling effect, relieving migraines and muscle rigidity.

  • Add 5-6 drops to a bowl of steaming hot water, cover your head with a towel and breathe in the vapour.
  • Dilute 2 drops in a teaspoon of olive oil and rub under your nose, on the chest, or around the neck.
