Hops Powder (Humulus lupulus) is a finely milled, gently bitter, aromatic powder made from carefully dried hop flowers. Traditionally included in calm-down blends, it suits evening herbal teas, simple extracts and sleep sachets.

How to use

Herbal tea (powder): Use ½-1 tsp per 250 ml freshly boiled water; infuse 10-15 minutes in a covered vessel, then strain through fine mesh or muslin; enjoy in the evening

Tincture: 1:5 (herb:solvent) in 40-50% alcohol; macerate 2-4 weeks with occasional shaking, then strain and bottle

Sachets: Fill a small muslin bag with powder, seal well and tuck into a pillowcase; replace or refresh regularly

Rinse-off infusion: Prepare tea as above, cool fully, strain very well and use as a brief hair or bath rinse
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct light and strong odours; reseal tightly after each use.
