Tallow SA / McDairy brings together two separate South African brands run by the same business. Tallow SA was founded by Cathie “Cat” Beukes after experimenting with grass-fed beef fat at home, while McDairy focuses on a simple, homegrown dairy staple.

Our current selection includes pure, food-grade beef tallow from Tallow SA and creamy dairy butter from McDairy. The tallow is suited to cooking, baking and selected skincare or soap-making projects, while the butter is a familiar option for spreading, cooking and baking.

Although the products retain their own brand identities, they share a practical approach to straightforward ingredients and everyday household use.
