Detox and rejuvenate with stinging nettle powder. Native to North Africa, Europe, and the cooler parts of Asia - commonly found near riverbanks - this hardy herb is now cultivated globally. Traditionally, nettle tea was brewed to soothe muscle pain, assist natural detoxification, calm allergies, and help clear acne and eczema from within. In many herbal traditions, complexion is believed to mirror internal wellbeing.
♡ Why we love it: Stinging nettle is rich in nutrients that benefit both inner vitality and outer beauty. It naturally contains vitamins A, C, K, and a range of B vitamins, plus iron, calcium, magnesium, potassium, silica, and flavonoids like quercetin. It also offers phenols like ferulic acid, as well as tannins, chlorophyll, carotenoids, and amino acids. These compounds contribute to nettle’s traditional use for kidney support, urinary comfort, easing inflammatory joint stiffness, boosting vitality, and promoting healthy hair, skin, and nails. Its minerals also make it helpful for easing seasonal allergy symptoms.
In topical care, nettle extract soothes the skin, tones, tightens pores, and enriches formulations with antioxidants and trace minerals. In haircare, it’s long been used to support stronger-feeling strands, fuller-looking hair, and a balanced scalp - ideal for oily or dandruff-prone conditions.
