Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about choosing and using Essentially Natural ingredients.

What are botanical bath salts used for?

Botanical bath salts are used to create a more enjoyable bath with added salts, dried botanicals, and natural aromatic elements. They are commonly used as part of a relaxing body care routine.

How do I use botanical bath salts?

They are usually added to warm bath water and allowed to dissolve or infuse before getting in. Check the product page for the suggested amount and any product-specific directions.

Do botanical bath salts fully dissolve in the bath?

The salts often dissolve, but the botanical parts may not. Dried flowers, herbs, or petals can remain in the water, so some people prefer to use a bath tea bag or strainer for easier clean-up.

Can I use botanical bath salts if I prefer unscented products?

It depends on the blend. Some botanical bath salts contain essential oils or naturally aromatic botanicals, while others may have a lighter scent profile, so it is worth checking the ingredients first.

How should I store botanical bath salts after opening?

Keep them tightly sealed in a cool, dry place away from moisture and direct sunlight. This helps prevent clumping and helps maintain the quality of the botanicals and salts.
