Essentially Natural Zinc Ricinoleate Complex is a liquid, water-miscible deodorising ingredient designed to help trap and neutralise odour-forming molecules. It combines zinc ricinoleate with a biodegradable, plant-based chelating agent to improve ease of use in formulas. A: No, it is designed to neutralise odour molecules rather than block perspiration.
Q: Will this remove the need for fragrance in deodorant?
A: Many makers use less fragrance when using zinc ricinoleate, but final scent is still formula-dependent.
Q: Can I use this in a clear spray?
A: It is water-miscible and often used in sprays, but clarity depends on your full formula and ingredients.

Very happy I decided to add this to my homemade deodorant. It definitely helps extend the odor free time period. Makes my homemade deodorant as good, or better, than a commercial anti perspirant
I was very hesitant to try zinc ricinoleate because I already have a winning homemade natural deodorant using bicarb. I have to say this is even better. Great for sensitive skin because I know longer need to use bicarb. It does its job as the description beautifully says. 100% happy with my purchase
Love this product. Tried other brands but got a reaction so won't be doing that again.
