Escentia Sandalwood essential oil (Amyris balsamifera), also known as West Indian Sandalwood, is a less costly alternative to other Sandalwoods (i.e. Santalum album). Its popular and enduring woody/musty aroma makes it one of the most highly recommended oils in for use in aromatherapy.

Size: 10ml, 20ml, 50ml or 100ml.

Soothing Aromatherapy Massage Oil

4 drops ylang ylang essential oil

4 drops sandalwood essential oil

4 drops sweet orange essential oil

2 drops geranium essential oil

60ml carrier oil of your choice (argan, coconut, sesame, sweet almond, jojoba, grapeseed, macadamia)

Pour all the oils together into a dark glass bottle and shake gently to combine. Allow the oils to infuse together for a few days before use. Read more on Massage oils on our blog.

  • Place in an oil warmer to scent a whole room
  • Add to unscented bath salts, soaps, creams or moisturisers
  • Add a drop or two to unscented candles
  • Add to a carrier oil to make massage or bath and body oils

Quality oil

I bought the Escentia Amyris balsamifera oil to use as an antimicrobial against s. aureus. It works wonderfully! I previously tried another brand but it did not work nearly as well. I also use a few drops in my dog's bathwater to deter tics, and it works! Plus I LOVE the woody smell of this oil, and that it is thick and more concentrated. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.
