Faqs
Q: Why is the supplied pH so high?
A: Many surfactants are supplied alkaline for stability, but the final formulation should be adjusted to a skin-friendly pH.
Q: Will adding salt thicken it like other surfactants?
A: Lauryl glucoside has a limited salt response, so viscosity is usually improved by blending with amphoterics or using suitable thickeners.
Q: Can I use this on its own as a cleanser?
A: It is a raw surfactant intended for formulating, it should be diluted and balanced within a complete formula for best comfort and performance.
