Essentially Natural OliveM 2090 is a naturally derived water-in-oil emulsifier designed for cold-process cosmetic formulation. Based on olive oil chemistry, it combines polyglycerol esters of olive oil fatty acids with polyricinoleic acid to help create stable W/O emulsions with a lighter, silkier skin feel than many traditional W/O systems. It is a yellow-amber viscous liquid that works well across skincare, sun care, make-up, baby-care style and toiletry formulations where a high-performance natural-origin emulsifier is needed. OliveM 2090 also supports powder wetting and dispersion, making it useful in formulas containing pigments, mineral filters and other dispersed ingredients.
♡ Why we love it: This is a rare functional ingredient that makes natural-origin W/O emulsions feel elegant and modern. It helps formulators create stable, rich-but-light textures with excellent spreadability, fast absorption and a silky after-feel.
