Essentially Natural Emulsifier HP 30 is a complete emulsifying wax for creating smooth, stable face creams, body lotions and hand creams. It gives finished emulsions a refined, conditioned feel without excessive waxiness and can work with both lighter oils and richer oil phases. Its good electrolyte tolerance makes it particularly useful in formulas containing compatible botanical waters, salts or actives that can be challenging for some emulsifiers.
♡ Why we love it: We choose to offer Emulsifier HP 30 because it combines reliable emulsification with an elegant finished texture. It is an especially useful option when a formula needs both a soft skin feel and greater flexibility around electrolyte-containing ingredients.

Faqs
Q: What does oil-in-water mean?
A: It means small oil droplets are dispersed through a continuous water phase, creating the familiar structure of most lotions and creams.
Q: When would I choose HP 30 over a basic emulsifying wax?
A: It is especially useful when a smoother, less waxy feel or better electrolyte tolerance is important.
Q: Can it emulsify richer butters?
A: Yes, provided the complete oil phase remains within the recommended capacity and the formula is properly tested.

I did a lot of searching for a 100% natural emulsifier and this is the only one I could find - it works great in my scrub formula.
Definitely getting a bigger bag!
