Escentia Carotenes oil is a specialty extract of active carotenoid compounds blended in sunflower oil. It is used mainly as a Provitamin A-carrier in scalp care, sun protection, day creams, night creams, baby-care, and skin oils. Regular use of the oil can benefit dry and wrinkled skin and it acts as a regulator for sebum production.

Carotene has a tendency to stain so be careful near clothing. Its rich, orange colour can also tint the skin when applied directly. You can avoid this by blending with a carrier oil.
