  • As a Stability Booster: Pair with a suitable fatty alcohol, gum or other stabiliser where additional body is required.
  • Processing Tip: Many formulas combine the phases at approximately 70°C.

Amazing Service, Good Emulsifier

We didn't add Xanthan gum, just low oil Phase and had a nice creamy emulsion that isn't too soapy.

Amazing Service and they gave us a small sample of Jojoba oil for free which was actually really sweet.

Eco E Wax - Best Emulsifier

Eco E wax always performs as expected, I have never been disappointed. I normally include cetearyl alcohol and cetyl alcohol in my formulations along with Eco E wax, my emulsions remain stable with a good texture. I have formulated with other emulsifiers that cannot be compared to this.

Very happy with the product and with your service! The emulsifier works beautifully with a co-emulsifier such as lecithin, stearic acid or xantham gum, and it has a great skin feel. Quick delivery after the order, too!

Great skin feel

Works great and does not leave a weird skin feel like some emulsifiers tend to do. As stated in the blog it needs some stabilizing ingredients. I used Cetearyl alcohol and it created a beautiful thick cream

As other reviews have mentioned - difficult to obtain a stable emulsion

I am not sure what the secret is to this emulsifier. I tried very basic oil-to-water emulsions with a high-shear blender. I feel like some additional info on how to use this particular emulsifier would be beneficial.

Hi Lee, as mentioned on the product page, this emulsifier benefits from xanthan gum to help stabilise it.

AMAZING EMULSIFIER

Since l started formulating this has been my friend. No problem with separation, very stable emulsifier, l use as the primary one then add a co emulsifier or a fatty alcohol.. Superb. If you make sure your oil phase is compatible. I find it easy and cheap. Just avoid soaping.

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST EMULSIFIYING WAX EVER. no matter how i try this and no matter the quantity i use it always separates. would not recommend this to anyone

Seperation lotion

I have the same problem with this product. All my lotions and creams seperate. Tried both ways oil in water, water in oil and have a hivh speed blender

Separated lotion

I used Eco E wax in your Ultra Basic Lotion Formula recipe. After a few hours there were water under neath the lotion. I've heated the oil and water phase to 75°C before mixing them together. I've added the water phase to the oil phase. They combined in the beginning. Can you please give me any advise?

Hi Doret, typically the oil phase is added to the water phase so that could be part of the issue. And did you use a high shear blender like a soup blender? It needs high speed mixing to work.
