How to use
- As an Emulsifier in Creams and Lotions: Use at 3-7% depending on the texture and stability required.
- As a Standard Emulsion Method: Add Eco E Wax to the heated oil phase and heat to full melt, then combine with the heated water phase and emulsify with good mixing.
- As a Stability Booster: While it can emulsify alone, it benefits from a stabiliser such as a gum (for example xanthan gum) or a fatty alcohol such as cetyl alcohol to improve viscosity and stability.
- Processing Tip: Heat both phases to a similar temperature (around 70°C is common in many processes) and mix thoroughly during emulsification for best results.

- For cosmetic formulation use only
- Avoid inhaling dust if the product is in fine particulate form
- Keep out of reach of children
- Store tightly sealed in a cool, dry place away from heat and direct sunlight
- Use clean, dry utensils to avoid introducing moisture into the container

Q: What does “SE” mean in Glyceryl Stearate SE?
A: SE stands for self-emulsifying, meaning it is supplied with emulsifying components that allow it to form oil-in-water emulsions.

A: Yes, stable emulsions can be made with Eco E Wax alone, but many formulas benefit from adding a stabiliser such as a gum or a fatty alcohol for improved thickness and long-term stability.
Q: What type of emulsion does this make?
A: It is designed for oil-in-water emulsions, which are typically lighter-feeling creams and lotions.
Q: Is this ingredient palm-derived?
A: Yes, it is derived from sustainably sourced palm oil sources.
Q: What temperature does it melt at?
A: Its melting point is around 60°C, so it should be added to the heated oil phase until fully melted.
