Frequently Asked Questions

Helpful answers about choosing and using products in this collection.

Does Mac's Honey vary in colour or flavour?

Yes, natural honey can vary slightly in colour, flavour, and aroma depending on floral source, season, and batch. Small variations are normal and part of working with a natural product.

Is Mac's Honey suitable for food use?

Products in this collection are generally presented as honey products, but it is still best to check the individual product page for the exact wording, grade, and intended use. This is especially important if you are comparing it with honey used for cosmetic or DIY purposes.

Can Mac's Honey also be used in DIY skincare?

Some honey products are commonly used in masks, soaps, scrubs, and other topical DIY formulations. Always check the specific product page first to make sure the item is suitable for the use you have in mind.

Is Mac's Honey raw or processed?

That depends on the specific product in the collection. Please check the individual product page for details such as raw, filtered, creamed, or any other processing notes.

Why does honey sometimes crystallise?

Crystallisation is a natural process that can happen over time depending on the honey type and storage conditions. It does not necessarily mean the honey has gone bad.
