A versatile, unscented cream base for those starting to experiment with DIY body care. Formulated with natural and naturally derived ingredients that are readily absorbed without clogging pores, Escentia's Natural Cream Base provides a cream 'canvas' for crafting your own custom body cream or lotion. Simply blend in your desired actives, essential oils, plant oils or infusions to create unique products tailored to your skin's needs. 100% non-GMO and free from artificial fragrances, dyes and preservatives.

While nourishing, we recommend this fragrance-free cream base as a base for body applications only. This product should not be applied to the delicate facial area without carefully skin (patch) testing your customised creation for sensititvity.

Use as is or simply add a few drops of essential oils or a therapeutic combination of oil blends of your choice to make it your own. Store in a cool, dark place. It is recommended to add an additional preservative if adding an aqueous phase such as aloe vera.

To customise it to your unique needs, add in the essential oils, carrier oils, conditioning agents and/or actives of your choice.

Ouch!!

So dissapointed with this cream. I developed a horrific red rash and burning literally within seconds of applying it to my face. I think you should put a warning on the website that it is not suitable for sensitive skin.

Versatile

This cream has a smooth , light texture. A perfect vehicle to add your own blends . Perfect body cream. Softer and lighter than the Shea butter cream.

I bought this cream recently,love how fluffy it is but it has a funny musky smell,like old oil- oil that's not fresh,is this normal or should I throw it away? I can smell the essential oils I added to it not it leaves a slightly musky scent..

Hi Abby, it is likely just the scent of one of the oils contained in the cream - some unrefined oils do have 'interesting' scents which can come through in the final product.

The cream definitely isn't old as we have a high turn over of this product, so it is guaranteed to always be fresh.

I love this cream base i used it in my facial mask, cleanser moisturiser and body lotion formulations. will definitely buy more

Severe allergic reaction

Although I like the consistency of the product and the way it feels on the skin, I had a SEVERE allergic reaction within one minute from applying it. I still would recommend this product but definitely not to people with sensitive skin types.
