Hemp Seed Oil DIY for Skin Health
Essentially NaturalAre you struggling with dry, blotchy or itchy skin? Or perhaps, like me, your skin has seen a few too many winters!
Hemp Seed Benefits For Skin
Hemp oil is an excellent choice for combating dry skin, particularly during the change of seasons when the skin is prone to dehydration and irritation. Renowned for its rich composition of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, hemp oil replenishes the skin's natural moisture barrier, locking in hydration and restoring suppleness.
Its non-comedogenic properties make it suitable for all skin types, offering relief without clogging pores. Additionally, hemp oil has an impressive array of antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds, which help soothe irritation and redness, as well as ahem, help to plump out those pesky wrinkles!

Hi there Tania,
Thanks for reaching out :)
Hemp seed oil is rich in essential fatty acids that help nourish and protect the skin’s natural barrier, so it can be very supportive for dry and / or sensitive skins, including those prone to eczema. It can help with hydration and comfort but is not a medical treatment for eczema itself.
For the fungal concern on your foot and nails, hemp seeds antibacterial properties are not strong enough in itself to counter the fungus alone. While it may be a great supportive ingredient, you might want to look into ingredients known for antifungal support, like tea tree essential oil or oregano essential oil (used with caution and dilution).
Though do please note that we are not medical professionals, this is general advice and should your symptoms be concerning we would kindly request that you see a medical professional.
We hope that helps <3
Wishing you all of the best,
Aiden

Hi Krystal! In this context, “pouring off” refers to the process of transferring a liquid or semi-liquid mixture from one container to another while maintaining it at just above its melting point. This ensures that the mixture stays in a pourable state and does not solidify during the transfer. IOW: Maintain the mixture just above its melting point while carefully pouring it into another container. :)
Hi, I am loving the recipes and advice given on this website about all the ingredients and getting started when wanting to turn your passion for natural skincare into a business (like i am). I was just wanting to know what “pouring off” means? I have seen it mentioned in quite a few recipes and im not sure what it means.
