300ml  Orange Blossom Hydrosol* (Citrus Aurantium Dulcis Water)

50ml  Sweet Almond Oil (Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis Oil)

100g  Montanov 68 Mb (Cetearyl Alcohol & Cetearyl Glucoside)

10ml  Sea Buckthorn Berry Oil** (Hippophae Rhamnoides Fruit Oil)

100ml  Vegetable Glycerine***

10ml Sweet Orange Essential Oil (Citrus sinensis)

50ml  Geogard 221****

As some ingredients are not readily available in our part of the world, the Formula Botanica team have confirmed that the following are appropriate substitutions:

*Orange blossom hydrosol is an approved substitution for neroli hydrosol,

**Sea buckthorn berry oil is the approved substitute for Sea buckthorn CO2 extract

***Glycerine is substituted for papaya glycerite

****Geogard 221 is substituted for Geogard ECT. 

You will be making 100g of the cream but there are enough ingredients in the kit to make that three times over, so there's plenty of room for trial and error.

Formula Botanica Combo Pack

The combination was a great way to make face cream with Formula Botanica. The hydrosol tingles my skin a bit too much so I will mix it with rose hydrosol next time. The smell of the orange blossom hydrosol is to die for. Many thanks for making up a special kit (as it made buying much easier)

So excited Essentially Natural has teamed up with Formula Botanica, and eager to buy their next masterclass kit for you. I am also doing their Diploma in Organic Skincare Formulation and happy that I'll be able to source the raw materials from you. I'm also hoping you'll be able to help with guidance on alternatives for ingredients that I cannot seem to source like, SCS (Sodium Coco Sulfate).

Super excited to make my first face lotion!

I've been attending the Formula Botanica Masterclasses since last year but I was never able to make the formulatons they taught, but when I saw Essentially Natural selling a kit to make it I immedately bought. I am super happy with what has been given to me after I paid even though some of the ingredients are a bit different. For example, you get glycerine instead of papaya glycerite, Olivem 100 instead of Vegetal, and Geogard 221 in of Geogard ECT. But it all still worked out in the end and I still managed to make the face lotion that smelled heavenly. If they sell the kit for the Masterclass later this year I will also definitely be buying it!

I am truly excited that you have teamed up with Formula Britannica. I did their free master class and there was no supplier available to provide all the ingredients I needed. A master class no one should miss. I have however ordered ingredients through Essentially Natural and they were very efficient and received the products timeously, even though it was during the crazy December/January period. This is very exciting. Thank you Essentially Natural for providing us with the ingredients we need in this part of the world, as well as the lovely recipes and bits of information posted.
