It's best to mix in an old bowl as the clay is quite abrasive and could damage the surface of your best kitchen crockery. Just place your clay into your chosen bowl and add water. Leave this to stand for a few minutes until the clay pieces have dissolved. After the clay has hydrated you can stir so that you get a consistent paste which will be easy to apply with your fingers. You can then add any other ingredients that you wish to make part of your mask or hair treatment.

A gentle mask for any skin type that is also antiaging.

2 T rhassoul clay

3 T rose water

1 T mashed avocado

Squeeze of honey

2-3 drops essential oil of choice, try rose, geranium or frankincense

Blend ingredients together and apply to clean skin. Leave on for 10-15 minutes then rinse off with warm water, apply a moisturiser if needed. Read more on our mineral clay masks on our blog.
