Q: Why does walnut leaf tea taste astringent?
A: Walnut leaves naturally contain tannins, which create a drying, astringent mouthfeel.

Q: Can I use this powder in a toner-style rinse?
A: Yes. Many people use a cooled, well-strained infusion for brief rinse routines on intact skin.

Q: How fine should I strain it?
A: For mouth rinses or scalp use, muslin or a coffee filter helps remove fine particles for a smoother feel.
