Truefood Organic Coconut Sugar is a 100% natural, unrefined alternative to processed sugar with a similar taste to brown sugar but with a delicious, and gorgeous, caramel flavour and colour. This certified organic coconut blossom sugar is made from nectar harvested from the blossom of the coconut tree, which is crystallized into sugar.
Why we love it: Coconut sugar is one of the most sustainable sweeteners in the world with coconut trees growing in diverse environments that benefit the ecosystem. Once tapped the coconut tree will provide sap for up to 20 years. They supply 50-75% more sugar per acre compared to cane sugar and require less water, and less nutrients from the ground, in order to grow.

Recipe inspiration
Coconut Rose Body Polish
¼ c coconut sugar or brown sugar
5 drops rose blend essential oil
Small handful of dried rose petals Pinch of hibiscus powder
1 T shea butter
2 T coconut oil
10g OliveM300 (optional, but helps the oils emulsify and turn ultra creamy on your skin)
Melt the shea butter, OliveM300 and coconut oil together, then blend the melted oils in with the sugar and stir in the rose essential oil and rose petals. Read more on our Luxury Sugar and Salt Scrubs in our blog.
How to use
