Glass Short Stem Filter Funnels are moulded from borosilicate 3.3 glass with a classic 60° cone for reliable, controlled transfers. The short stem design makes them ideal when working with shallow vessels or limited headspace. Smooth, fire-polished rims support filter papers neatly and help minimise drips. Chemically resistant and easy to clean, they suit labs, classrooms and workshop benches alike.
♡ Why we love it: Simple, sturdy and precise, these funnels make decanting and filtration tidy and predictable. The short stem reduces splashing in low beakers or bottles, and the borosilicate build stands up to hot liquids and routine cleaning.
Sizes: 25mm, 35mm, 50mm, 60mm, 75mm, 80mm, 100mm, 125mm or 150mm.
Uses
- Direct, low-splash liquid transfer into shallow containers
- Gravity filtration with standard cone filter papers
- Sample preparation, decanting and solvent recovery
Benefits
- Borosilicate 3.3 glass for thermal and chemical resistance
- 60° cone for optimal paper seating and flow
- Short stem improves control in tight spaces and shallow vessels
- Smooth, easy-clean surfaces and fire-polished rim
How to use
- Select a funnel diameter that matches the mouth of your receiving vessel and filter paper size.
- Fold and seat filter paper against the 60° wall, moisten if needed, then pour slowly down the glass wall to minimise turbulence.
- Rinse residual liquid through with a small volume of solvent or water if required.
Care
Rinse after use and wash with a suitable laboratory detergent. Avoid sudden temperature shocks. Inspect for chips or cracks before each use and replace if damaged.

Great quality, but the stem is a bit long to use on a 30ml bottle.
Great quality and service!
Great quality glass funnel , easy to sterilise and work perfectly
The stem was a little longer than I expected and the tip was not as beveled as in the picture. However, it works perfectly.
It makes my work very easy, I don't have to worry about messing my work. Thank you
