Hand harvested using time honoured Celtic methods, it is unrefined, mineral rich, naturally grey, and lightly moist so the crystals keep a gentle ocean dampness even in storage. The robust, chunky grain brings depth and character to cooking and dissolves smoothly for mineral soaks and rustic scrubs.

How to use

Cooking: Use in a grinder or crush with a mortar and pestle. For brines and ferments, dissolve to your recipe ratio in warm water, then cool before use.

Salt crusts and roasting: Mix with a little water to pack around fish or vegetables, then bake as directed.

Bath: Add 1 to 2 cups to warm bath water and soak for 20 to 30 minutes.Foot soak: Add 2 to 4 tablespoons to a basin of warm water and soak for 10 to 20 minutes.

Scrub: Combine with coconut oil or honey to a coarse paste; massage gently on damp skin, then rinse.

Storage

Store sealed in a cool, dry place. Natural clumping can be loosened with a clean, dry utensil; keep moisture out of the pouch or jar.
