DIY Hair Growth Kit

• 2% Caffeine Powder
• 0.75% Rosemary Essential Oil
• 0.75% Peppermint Essential Oil
• 2% Pumpkin Seed Oil
• 6% OliveM 300
• 1% Geogard 221
• 87.5% Distilled Water

New to formulation? This recipe is written in percentages so it can easily be scaled to any batch size. We've also included the exact quantities for a 200g batch to help you get started.

• 4g Caffeine Powder
• 1.5g Rosemary Essential Oil
• 1.5g Peppermint Essential Oil
• 4g Pumpkin Seed Oil
• 12g OliveM 300
• 2g Geogard 221
• 170.5g Distilled Water

1. Heat the distilled water until freshly boiled and pour into your beaker.
2. Add the caffeine powder and stir until completely dissolved. Allow the solution to cool to lukewarm.
3. In a separate beaker, combine the rosemary essential oil, peppermint essential oil, pumpkin seed oil and Olivem 300. Stir until completely mixed.
4. Once the caffeine solution has cooled, stir in the Geogard 221.
5. Slowly add the oil mixture to the caffeine solution while stirring continuously until the serum is evenly dispersed.
6. Bottle in a clean spray bottle or pipette bottle. A trigger spray bottle generally provides the easiest application directly onto the scalp.

Shake well before each use. Spray directly onto the scalp once or twice daily and gently massage in. Leave on - there is no need to rinse.

• Perform a patch test before first use and discontinue use if irritation occurs.
• For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes and other sensitive areas.
• Do not apply to broken or irritated skin.
• Keep out of reach of children and pets.
• Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. 
• When prepared with the recommended preservative and stored correctly, the serum is generally best used within 3–6 months.
• As this serum contains water, always use clean equipment during preparation to help minimise contamination.
