How to Use

Guidance

Rub a few drops between your palms and smooth over the desired area, using less for the face and more for hair, beard or body.

For best results, apply to slightly damp skin or hair to help seal in moisture and softness.

Make It Yours

  • For Extra Stability:
Add ½ teaspoon Vitamin E to help slow oxidation and keep the blend fresher for longer.
  • For Extra Barrier Support:
Replace 1 tablespoon MCT oil with 1 tablespoon Squalane for a more skin-focused blend that leaves dry skin softer, more supple, and conditioned without adding heaviness.
  • For A Golden Boost:
Add 30 drops Carotene for a warmer, more radiant-looking glow while enriching dry, dull-looking hair. Strand-test first on very pale, grey, or bleached hair because of its strong colour.
  • For A Creamier Variation
Add 2 teaspoons of this oil serum to 100ml of a lotion / cream base. This can be used as is on the face, or you could add ½ teaspoon vegetable keratin for hair to improve strength, elasticity and manageability while reducing frizz - especially useful for brittle, chemically treated or heat-damaged hair.

Pro Tips & Storage

  • Will this aggravate acne or clog my pores?

Not necessarily. Hemp seed oil is naturally high in linoleic acid, a fatty acid associated with healthy barrier function and which has even shown some benefit for acne-prone skin. Black seed also has interesting acne-related research. That said, every skin reacts differently, so start with just 1–2 drops and patch test if you’re prone to breakouts.

  • Will it make my hair greasy?

Only if you use too much. Start with 1–3 drops through the ends and lengths, adding more only for very dry, coarse, or curly hair.

  • What does this oil do on each area?

    1. On the face: Replenishes to soften rough, tight-feeling skin, improve suppleness, and help seal in moisture.
    2. On the scalp: Conditions dry, flaky-feeling areas and helps keep the scalp soft and comfortable without a heavy oily coating. The mild antimicrobial activity that may help support a healthier scalp environment.
    3. On the hair: Lubricates the hair fibre to reduce friction, smooth frizz, soften rough ends, improve manageability, and boost shine.
    4. On the beard: Softens coarse, wiry hairs while improving manageability and conditioning the dry or flaky skin underneath.
  • Does hemp seed oil contain CBD?

No. Hemp seed oil is pressed from the seeds, rather than the cannabinoid-rich flowers, so it isn’t a CBD oil. Instead, it’s valued for its naturally high levels of linoleic and alpha-linolenic fatty acids, which help soften dry-feeling skin, support the skin barrier, smooth roughness, and condition hair without the heaviness of richer oils.

  • Can I use this on my face every day?

Yes. Start with 2–3 drops on slightly damp skin and adjust depending on how dry your skin feels.

  • Can I use it if my skin or hair is already oily?

Yes - just use much less. The blend is designed to be light. On oily skin, try 1–2 drops on damp, clean skin; on oily hair, keep it mainly to dry ends or use it as a pre-wash treatment rather than thickly coating the roots.
