Himalayan pink salt is renowned for its rich mineral content and therapeutic properties. It is completely in its raw form, without any processing or exposure to excessive heat. In addition to sodium chloride, Himalayan salt naturally contains calcium, magnesium, potassium, sulphur and iron. Add it to your bath water or foot soak, combine with Epsom salts and dried flowers for a pretty bath salts mixture, or use in your cooking instead of ordinary table salt and enjoy the flavour and benefits of the elements.
Sizes: 500g, 1kg, 2kg or 5kg.
Himalayan salt uses
- Add to you bath directly, or mix your own bath salts with Epsom salts
- Healing and therapeutic, and can help disinfect and speed up wound healing
- Inhale in a nasal inhaler for easier breathing, to clear passageways and to treat allergies

Classic bath salt recipe using himalayan salt
- 200ml glass jar
- Roughly ½ cup Epsom Salts
- 4 tablespoons baking soda
- Small handful of Himalayan coarse salt - adds a beautiful pink flare
- 10-15 drops essential oil of choice - I love rose oil but try any of your favourites.
- 2 tablespoons Jojoba or Argan oil - both fantastic skin oils
- Dried rose petals for a special touch
Fill the jar just over halfway up with Epsom salts. Then fill it the rest of the way with baking soda, a small handful of Himalayan salt and some dried rose petals. Stir through so the mixture is evenly dispersed. Then add in about 10-15 drops of rose oil or other essential oil and 2 tablespoons of jojoba or argan oil. Stir well so the mixture is like that of slightly damp sand. Put the lid on and store in a dry place. To use in the bath or in a foot soak, scoop out a few small handfuls of bath salts and enjoy a relaxing soak.

What does food safe mean?
Food Grade: This refers to ingredients certified by an independent body (such as the FSA) as safe for human consumption. They are tested and produced under strict food-safe conditions. However, once repacked by a facility not certified by the Food Safety Authority (FSA), the product can no longer be sold or labeled as food grade - even if the original source was certified.
Food Safe: These ingredients are pure, originally food grade, and commonly used in food. They are handled in hygienic conditions, and our facility is inspected and approved as food safe by local municipal health authorities. However, as we are not a certified food production facility, we do not label these items as food grade. They are safe for personal use but not recommended for products intended for ingestion if being sold to the public.
For your safety
