Essentially Natural Decyl Glucoside is a naturally derived, biodegradable, non-ionic surfactant used to create gentle cleansing products with good foam. It is a popular base surfactant or co-surfactant in sulphate-free systems, helping build mild shampoos, body washes and bubble baths. Decyl glucoside is valued for its skin-friendly feel and versatility across many rinse-off products. It is supplied alkaline and finished formulas are typically adjusted to a skin-friendly pH.

I purchased this to use as a base for shampoo and absolutely love the foamy-ness of it. I’ve added rosemary essential oil to it. It’s a lovely homemade shampoo.
