Baobab: Turning the Beauty and Wellness World Upside Down!

Baobab: Turning the Beauty and Wellness World Upside Down!

The tree that looks like it has been planted with its roots in the air.

Baobab oil goes by various names including African Baobab, Baobab Seed Oil, and Adansonia Oil. But its most notable nickname? The "Tree of Life", a title earned due to its remarkable longevity and the many benefits it offers.

Native to Africa, the baobab tree holds a special place in African folklore and culture. For centuries, its leaves, bark, and fruit pulp have been used as remedies for an array of ailments, from fevers to gastrointestinal issues.

What Makes The Baobab Tree So Special?

It's all in the ingredients - rich in omega-3 fatty acids, essential vitamins (A, E, and C), and minerals, the baobab is crammed with antibacterial, antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties.

What Are The Skin and Hair Benefits Of Baobab Oil?

Baobab fruit and oil deeply nourish the skin, leaving it soft, supple and radiant and the oil acts as a skin barrier. Its collagen-stimulating prowess makes it a prized ingredient in skincare and cosmetics worldwide. Similarly, baobab is used in scalp and hair care, to banish dandruff and add shine.

Also known as the "pharmacy tree" baobab products work wonders for skin conditions like eczema, hives, and acne, as well as assisting with sun care. As a dietary supplement, baobab fruit pulp provides a powerful dose of essential vitamins and minerals, bolstering overall health and immunity.

Whether you're looking to revitalise your skincare routine, nourish your hair, or boost your overall health, baobab has got you covered.

Caution: While Baobab oil is generally safe, those with nut allergies should tread carefully. As always, consult healthcare professionals before use, especially if you're pregnant or breastfeeding or have sensitive skin.

Tree of Life Oil Serum

At the heart of this serum lies the majestic Baobab oil, celebrated for its deeply nourishing and moisturising properties. Sourced from the iconic "Tree of Life," Baobab oil forms the cornerstone of this formula, offering hydration and rejuvenation to the skin.

Baobab oil provides a heavy, buttery skin-feel and is a rich emollient. It's high in vitamins A, D, E and essential fatty acids.

With its high content of antioxidants and fatty acids, Marula oil replenishes and revitalizes the skin, leaving it soft, supple, and radiant.

To enhance the serum's anti-aging benefits, we've added Bakuchiol, a natural retinol alternative derived from the Babchi plant. Bakuchiol helps to diminish fine lines, wrinkles, and other signs of aging, promoting a more youthful complexion without the irritation often associated with traditional retinoids.
