Mate Tea (yerba mate) is the dried leaf of Ilex paraguariensis, a traditional South American herb enjoyed for its naturally caffeinated, steady lift. Smooth and herbaceous, it offers focused energy with a gentler feel than coffee and can be enjoyed hot or iced for everyday refreshment.

  • Hot infusion: Add 1-2 tsp dried leaf to 250ml water just off the boil. Steep 5-10 minutes; strain

  • Iced mate: Brew double strength (2-3 tsp in 250ml hot water), cool, then pour over ice; add lemon or mint

  • Teapot/French press: Use 1-2 tsp per 250ml water; steep 5-10 minutes and plunge or strain

Store sealed in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and moisture.
