Escentia Benzoin Oil - Standardised

Benzoin oil, also known as Friars Balsam, has a calming effect that can relieve depression and feelings of sadness. Its sweet, balsamic vanilla-like aroma can be used in steam inhalation as a treatment for bronchitis, colds and similar conditions. It presents more like a syrupy liquid than an oil, but it is easy to dilute and is often used as a fixative in soaps and fragrances.
Sizes: 10ml or 20ml.

About Standardised Essential Oils
Standardised essential oils are produced to achieve a standard scent, whereas a single species essential oil may vary in scent because it is an individual plant species that can naturally vary with season, rainfall, soil quality, geography and a variety of other factors. Standardising the scent by combining multiple species is a method of producing an oil that will always be similar in quality. Standardised oils can therefore be quite beneficial when scent reliability is required.
Standardised essential oils are pure essential oils which have not been diluted, filled or altered in any way. The only differentiating factor between standardised essential oils and others is that multiple variations of plant species are distilled.
Love this product as I used it in home made fragrance. It’s a good alternative to vanilla when you don’t want such an intense sweetness.
I have used Benzoin oil before but another brand. This particular oil is as thick as molasses, and it doesn't blend with other oils at all. It lays at the bottom and tints any mixture milky. I'm disappointed. It's absolutely useless to me now.
I love the smell and look forward to use it. Thank you for superb service always!!
doesn't come out of the bottle so u have to bite it open n stick your finger in it which is messy. also doesnt do much for insomnia
