How to use
Celandine is on the Commission E (Germany’s regulatory agency for herbs) list of approved herbs for treatment of intestinal spasms. The average dosage is two to five grams per day. It can be taken internally or used externally.
A tea can be made from this herb drink no more than twice per day.
Contains
(Roots) Alkaloids including chelidonine chelerythine, coptisine, protopine. Chelidonic acid, essential oil, saponin, yellow latex with carotenoid latex.
Active properties
Acts as an anti-spasmodic, cholagogue, anodyne, purgative diuretic.
