Q: Is dong quai the same as Angelica archangelica?
A: No. Dong quai is Angelica sinensis, which is a different species with a different traditional use profile.

Q: Can I sweeten a dong quai decoction?
A: Yes. Honey is commonly used to soften the flavour.

Q: How should cut dong quai be stored after opening?
A: Reseal tightly and store cool and dry to protect aroma and prevent moisture uptake.
