Clay facial masks containing water-based substances are typically difficult to properly preserve, so we tend to make ours as we need them -
BUT
- there are some ingredients that you can safely add to a ready-made mask that does not require any preservation as they are self-preserving (like Honey, Glycerine, and Propanediol).
Provided that there is no water in the system - to introduce microbial contamination and activate the clay - you can safely create your ready-to-use mask that can even be stored. Self-care Sunday has never been easier!

Hi Darsh, we haven’t had the formula tested for a shelf life, but I’d estimate 6-12 months when stored correctly.
How long can this be stored for?
Hi Sonja, that’s a great question! I haven’t tried it with honey powder but I imagine you could. You may just need to add in some extra glycerine to make up for the moisture loss. Let us know if it works for you :)
Can I use honey powder?
