Karoo Duckfoot is an aromatic shrub with soft, grey foliage and clusters of yellow flowers that bloom from spring to summer. The leaves are flat and shaped like wedges, which gives it the distinct appearance of duck's feet. It grows widely from the Northern Cape to the Eastern and Western Cape in parts of dry fynbos, on dry stony hill slopes and in disturbed veld.
