Hemisqualane is a light emollient produced from plant sugar. Although oil-like, it is fast absorbing and is a great emollient and conditioner in formulations, without the heaviness and greasiness that oil brings.
Hemisqualane is similar to squalane but has a lower molecular weight, which makes it light and non-greasy.
