CFI Lactic Acid 80% - Food Grade is a liquid alpha hydroxy acid used in cosmetic formulation for exfoliating, moisture-supporting, and pH-adjusting applications. It is commonly added to facial products, body lotions, and moisturisers where a smoother-feeling finish and more refined texture are wanted. This is a raw formulation ingredient, not a ready-to-use peel or direct-to-skin treatment. Because it is active and concentrated, it should be used carefully and only in properly formulated products.

♡ Why we love it: Lactic acid is one of those ingredients that can make a formula feel more polished and purposeful without being overly complicated to work with. In the right formulation, it adds a lovely balance of smoothness, hydration support, and pH control.
