Essentially Natural Pumpkin Seed Oil - Cold Pressed
Stock delay: 2-4 days
Essentially Natural's cold-pressed Pumpkin seed (Cucurbita Pepo) oil is a highly versatile and nutrient-rich ingredient that can be incorporated into various DIY cosmetic formulations, or even applied neat (as is) to your skin or hair. With a wonderful nutty aroma this oil is lightweight in feel and easily absorbed. As an added bonus it's loaded with Vitamin E in forms of tocopherols and tocotrienols - a powerful antioxidant that helps cells defend from oxidative stress. Pumpkin Seed oil also has potent anti-inflammatory properties that can help reduce inflammation and is useful for managing conditions like arthritis.
♡ Why we love it: It’s the perfect ingredient for encouraging healthy skin and hair. In skin care, it reduces fine lines and wrinkles, moisturizes and protects your skin from environmental damage. And in haircare, it is known to promote hair growth, and is especially beneficial for people experiencing pattern baldness or thinning hair.
Sizes: 20ml, 30ml (with pipette), 50ml, 100ml, 200ml, 500ml or 1L.

How to use
- Pumpkin seed oil has a relatively short shelf life. Store it in a cool, dark place and use within 6-12 months.
- It has a distinct nutty aroma that may come through in your products. Consider this when choosing complementary scents.
- The oil is a dark green colour, which may affect the colour of your final product.
- Pumpkin seed oil is best used in leave-on products rather than rinse-off formulations to maximize its benefits.
- It's suitable for most skin types but may be especially beneficial for mature, dry, or acne-prone skin.
- Start with lower percentages and adjust based on your skin's response and the product's feel.
- Combine with other oils or butter to create balanced formulations.
- Consider adding an antioxidant like Vitamin E to extend the shelf life of your products.
